GSE is proud to partner once again with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender’s Expungement Unit to offer an expungement clinic. This legal process allows eligible criminal convictions to be removed from public records. Once your record is expunged, it can no longer be seen by employers, landlords, or schools, giving you a real opportunity to move forward with a clean slate.
People who receive expungements see an average 25% increase in wages within two years. Women experience up to a 30% income increase within one year. Black residents see a 25% wage boost within one year, helping address racial inequities. People with expungements are less likely to reoffend, making our communities safer. This service is free, confidential, and open to eligible New Jersey residents.
