“Our mission is the world‘s only online literary magazine for children and youth with LGBT parents,” says Publisher Laura Matanah

“These types of books are difficult to find at the library,” said one teacher, “and I think it’s important to have them in the classroom.” One parent stated, “we can’t find any books in the bookstores or libraries where we live, so glad they are here.”

Rainbow Rumpus states, “our mission is the world‘s only online literary magazine for children and youth with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) parents. We provide a safe, fun, and empowering place for young people to create and enjoy art, break through isolation, build community, and take action to make the world a better place.”
