Defarra Gaymon went to Branch Brook Park in Newark on a hot Friday evening (July 16, 2010) for reasons we may never be certain of. What we can be certain of is he did not expect to die there. The respected business man expected, we may be sure, to attend his high school reunion in Montclair and return to his wife and four children in Atlanta. That will never happen because a police officer killed him.
