Twenty-five years ago, being a successful independent artist was not so easy. But jazz vocalist, Suede has never seemed to have a problem tackling the difficult and making it look and sound smooth, effortless and fun. Dangerous Mood is Suede’s fifth release on her label, Easily Suede Music. Knowing the album would mark her career’s silver anniversary, she decided to go completely outrageous and build her own big band of hand picked musicians!
The album’s arrangements were written just for her voice; a voice that 2004 Outmusic nominee, Drew Paralic says, “is in a category with Ella Fitzgerald and Rosie Clooney. Always sweet, with very good pitch.”
