The annual Philly-to-NYC fundraising bike ride known as the Braking AIDS Ride is set to take place Oct. 3 and 4. Some riders will be joining the two-day group in Princeton for a one-day ride to NYC on Oct. 4.
The event will benefit Housing Works, an NYC-based organization that, according to its website, was “Born out of the AIDS crisis in New York City” and “is a healing community that fights for inclusive care, social justice, and an end to homelessness.”
“With its mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS, Housing Works fights for everyone to have access to healthcare, housing, and a fair shake. It’s called radical inclusion. It’s what makes Housing Works’ approach to ending AIDS and homelessness a national model,” Braking AIDS Ride said in a statement on its website.
The event in 2025 raised more than $416,000 in support of Housing Works’ mission to fight HIV and homelessness, HIV/AIDS publication POZ reported.
