BOOK REVIEW
The second book by native NJ writer Robert A Hofmann is a beautifully written memoir about the triumphs and heartbreaks associated with coming-of-age. An Ordinary Madness is chock full of scintillating moments that literally have you laughing out loud from start to finish.
Beginning with the first chapter, Hofmann completely draws you in. Each chapter is a story that takes you on a journey that allows you to leave the world behind. Hofmann’s writing is whimsical and his stories are truly charming.
Reading An Ordinary Madness is like being in the Hofmann household being fussed over by the overprotective mother while being ignored by a nonchalant father.
