A New Year dawning is always an occasion for reappraisal, new beginnings and new ideas. In the coming year, an idea we need to give serious thought to is the reorganization of New Jersey’s queer community. In the course of the past decade, an invidious process has been at work in the guise of unification. Ten years ago, our state had numerous LGBT organizations —all vibrant and active —serving a diverse and localized community.
