Bryan The Diamond boasts an audience of nearly 10 million viewers thanks to comedy skits that came about naturally. Unlike many influencers who begin their careers with a clear strategy to work the algorithm and build a following, Bryan’s rise to fame started with candid, humorous talks filmed in his car. His relatable take on life’s chaotic moments created a sense of escapism for viewers. It helped him build the loyal fanbase he has today.
Now a busy influencer with a highly engaged audience, Bryan still tries to keep the heart and humor that fans first fell in love with. Today his posts lean into over-the-top, outlandish comedy that many viewers find both comforting and entertaining. Whether he’s poking fun at the lengths people go to avoid paying for a checked bag at the airport or joking about the electric car craze, Bryan has a way of making everyday life feel a lot more amusing through his fresh comedic style.
More than just another creator making funny content, Bryan is also involved in charitable work. His background working with the special-needs community further reflects his mission: helping people experience moments of joy while dealing with the craziness life can throw at us. After already building an exciting career over the past six years, this rising powerhouse appears to have a very bright future ahead as a comedic force.
First, please let us know how you started your career with making social media content and how everything took off for you.
Bryan The Diamond: In 2020 during COVID I was working as a restaurant delivery driver for apps like DoorDash and also working with special needs kids. When the pandemic hit, it really made me rethink what I wanted to do with my life. I realized I had always wanted to work in entertainment. So I started posting comedic videos online just being myself, and they began to gain traction. Since then it’s opened the door to more opportunities and I’ve been continuing to just work non stop. The longest break I have ever taken from posting is three days. So just trying to keep hustling to keep the momentum going.
Throughout your career so far has there been any video that went viral that ended up surprising you?
BD: A lot of influencers don’t really include their families in their content, so I think when people saw that in my videos it felt refreshing and a little different. I’m really grateful people were able to connect with those moments. One video that got a lot of traction was a clip of me and my grandma at the beach — she had a few drinks and we were just having fun together. I think it resonated because family moments like that feel real, and not everyone gets to experience that kind of love from their own family. So seeing that dynamic really touched people, which was a beautiful surprise to me.
How is the process for you to come up with new videos that stem from such ordinary life moments? Your content really has such an authentic comedic tone so is it tricky to keep things fresh while also being simple?
BD: So none of my content is actually planned. It really just comes from spontaneous moments in my life and all the wild experiences I seem to run into. Stuff just happens and I’ll literally pull my camera out and start recording. I think the reason it resonates with people is the way I tell those stories. Anyone can tell a story, but making it entertaining takes effort. For me it’s less about talking at the viewer and more about making them feel like they’re my best friend — like they’re being welcomed into my life and coming along for this fun, unpredictable journey.
What’s really special are the messages I receive from people who say my videos helped them feel more comfortable coming out.
Your most relateable videos are the ones with your cats Diana and Theodore! How is it making content with your furry feline friends?
BD: I’ve always been a huge animal lover. I actually grew up with six dogs and a cat, so animals have always been a big part of my life. My mom even went to college to become a veterinarian, even though that’s not the career she ended up pursuing. Now being able to create content with my cat is really special to me. As someone who has loved animals for so long, it’s amazing to include them in what I do. The content comes about really organically too because they have such big personalities. My friends always say my cats act like dogs. So they really are the perfect furry collaborators.

You really come off as such a natural comedian in your posts. Are there any comedy actors from show or movies that you are really inspired by?
BD: One of my favorite actors is Melissa McCarthy. She’s incredibly funny — every movie she’s in just cracks me up. I also really love Sandra Bullock. I’ve probably seen almost all of their films. Even Melissa’s social media posts make me laugh. She’s a great example of someone who truly understands comedic timing and performance.
In terms of influencers, I really admire the Kardashian family. They took what they believed in and turned it into a massive brand. Whether people like their content or not, everyone knows who they are. That kind of brand power is impressive. I actually strive for something similar with my own brand. Some people in the past have called my content “cringe,” but I’ve also received a lot of love and support, which reminds me that there’s definitely an audience for being authentically myself.
Do you ever plan to do some more polished comedy acting like on a series? Or do you plan to just focus on social media content?
BD: I would absolutely love to work in movies or television. I’ve been working with a great team lately, so we’re exploring what opportunities and roles might come up. Being part of a Netflix film production would be a dream. Even having a small role in one of their projects would be an incredible experience. I actually had the chance to work with Netflix on a campaign for one of their shows. It was really exciting. Right now we’re focusing on branching out more into the mainstream and expanding beyond social media. I never want to limit myself to just one avenue.
I really enjoy your videos that showcase Florida living! The beachy vibes all come through so well! What is your favorite part of living in the sunshine state?
BD: I love the sunshine here, so as a bit of a beach bum it really is the perfect place for me. It just feels like home. Of course, no place is perfect. I do think it’s important to recognize that certain communities — like Miami — have strong support and protections for the LGBTQ+ community. Overall though, Florida kind of feels like its own little island, which I really enjoy. My life is pretty chaotic and unpredictable. And people around the country are always talking about the wild things that happen here. So honestly I feel like I fit right in.
Do you remember what your first post you made that took place on the beach was?
BD: Yes! I was on the beach in Brazil and I thought I saw a shark coming toward the shore. I screamed so loudly that everyone around me ran out of the water in a panic. I kept yelling, “There’s a shark coming!” and it caused this huge frenzy on the beach. The lifeguards came running and it basically turned into a whole little scandal at the resort we were staying at. What’s funny is that it ended up becoming one of the first videos of mine that went viral.
It truly sounds like the Tik Tok version of the movie Jaws. And I mean that as a compliment!
BD: Oh my god, yes! And I was like “We really need to go, we are going to get eaten alive right now!” It was such a crazy moment.
What’s next for you? Any exciting upcoming career plans you can share?
BD: I recently brought on an assistant and a marketing team. It’s been a great step in keeping the momentum going. Together we’re working to secure opportunities that take me beyond just social media and introduce my brand to new audiences. We are looking at things like more magazine interviews and other media appearances.
The long-term goal is to eventually expand more and more and hopefully create a podcast as well. As my platform grows, I also want to continue giving back. I recently made a donation to the Ronald McDonald House, and supporting causes like that is really important to me.
At the end of the day, it’s less about Bryan The Diamond as an image and more about building a positive and safe community. If someone is having a bad day and needs an escape, they can step into my funny world for a little relief from whatever chaos they’re dealing with.
I am sure you have already received some inspiring messages from your followers about how your content has helped them.
BD: Absolutely. I respond to around 50 to 100 direct messages every day. Interacting with my fanbase is really important to me. I try to engage with them as much as I can, whether that’s replying to messages or liking their stories when they repost my content. What’s really special are the messages I receive from people who say my videos helped them during a low point in their life, or that watching my content made them feel more comfortable coming out. Moments like that mean everything to me.
Some people call me the “internet bestie,” but honestly it goes deeper than that. I don’t like having a huge wall between myself and my audience the way some celebrities do. I want people to feel like they’re genuinely part of my world.
When fans write to me and say, “Please never stop making content,” that’s what keeps me motivated to keep going.
