Catholic Church actively opposes Marriage Equality
The Catholic Church in New Jersey is urging the state legislature to not legalize same-sex marriage. Bishops in New Jersey have issued a statement titled, "The Call to Marriage is Woven Deeply in the Human Spirit," in which they argue that God designed marriage to be between one man and one woman, and it cannot be changed for political or social reasons.
