Gregory Douglass continues to tour the country performing for a growing number of his fans called Greg Heads on college campuses and at house concerts. There doesn’t seem to be another indie artist whose albums are as eagerly anticipated as Douglass’ His latest CD, Battler is by far his best yet. In listening to Battler, one realizes that Douglass has a constant awareness of life’s many layers which is reflected with arrangements that support a lyrical development. Douglass’ distinct voice has matured with perfection since his earlier works. Battler is not only his best effort to date but one of the brightest indie offerings to come along.
