Sunday, January 31st marked the triumphant return of the Miss’d America Pageant to Atlantic City. Despite several inches of snow, over 1400 people turned out to support the return of this historic LGBT satirical response to the annual Miss America pageant. As reported earlier Harrah’s Casino empire has started to focus on and offer LGBT events and A.C. now has a dedicated GLBT alliance. It seems that the reach and professional skills of the A.C. casinos has continued with another great idea. Weekend atendees predict that Atlantic City is well on its way to becoming a popular destination for the LGBT community.
