At Mia it is almost impossible to find something amiss

Mia Restaurant at Caesars Atlantic Cityreview.

Mia is the joint conception of restaurateurs Georges Perrier, of Le Bec-Fin, and Chris Scarduzio, of Table 31 and a Philadelphia native. Like the co-creators Mia is a juxtaposition of experiences. The grand entrance columns on a raised platform in the Caesar Hotel’s main lobby are the perfect invitation for the taste sensations that await you inside.

The interior of Mia is both informal and imposing. Beautifully lit by teardrop lighting fixtures from the high ceiling and softened by the fabric accents. It is rich in character and a perfect setting for what you can only anticipate is an excellent dining experience yet to come. The wait staff is friendly, attentive and though there are many tables you never feel they are more than a glance away.

With the superior culinary expertise of Perrier and Scarduzio it would be almost impossible to find something not delicious and presented in an artistic way. The prosciutto with shaved parmesan was both tender and sharp. The roasted red and golden beet salad, delicately arranged to showcase the wonderful colors found in nature. My filet was cooked perfectly with a side of flageolet, a small French bean that develops a creamy texture and pairs beautifully with any rich cut of meat including lamb. I have to admit I’m a bit of a flageolet snob since my mother is French and has been serving this as a side all of my life. In truth it is rare to find on any menu and only added to an exceptional evening.

Mia also offers a prix fixe 3-course menu for only $39. Do not miss out… go to Mia on your next trip to Atlantic City and be sure to come ready to feed all your sensations.
