Yes On One campaign is behind by 1.6 Million
Marc Mutty, Campaign Chair of Stand for Marriage Maine, put out an urgent plea this week to his anti-gay supporters in which he said "Yes on One is in desperate need of additional financial support or at risk of losing the campaign to repeal Maine’s same sex marriage law. Stand for Marriage Maine is an organization which touts itself as "a broad-based coalition of Mainers who support the traditional definition of marriage between a man and a woman."
No On One/Support Maine Equality has filed a report and issued a press release stating so far they have raised 2.7 million dollars.
