Gay pride, LGBT pride or simply “pride” builds community and celebrates diversity. Each year the Southern New Jersey LGBTQA Pride Committee takes time to educate our community on prominent issues and sponsors an annual Pride Festival. The concentration of the organization at this year’s September 11, 2016 event is anti-bullying and is sponsored by CCM and Comcast.

South Jersey Pride attracts hundreds of individuals and families, community organizations and neighborhoods throughout the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania regions. Visitors of all ages attend – from 16 to 65 – and beyond. Southern New Jersey LGBTQA Pride is the only and largest event for the LGBTQA community in Southern New Jersey.

The festival is held in Cooper River Park at the Subaru area from noon to 6pm on Sunday, September 11, 2016. This year please come out and fell free to bring your BBQ, blankets, and beverages. Vendors, games, and entertainment is all afternoon and is free and open to the public.

This years headliner is Philadelphia’s most inspiring actress, director and playwright, Nikki Powerhouse. There will be celebrity guest appearances including: Carl Max as Whitney Houston, Rasta Boi Punany, former Mr. Philadelphia Gay Pride, Manny Lovett, cast of the LesBe Real Radio Talk show, DJ Deluxx, Ginger Alley, and many more.
