The Miss’d America show of sequined-filled glamour and glitz comes to Atlantic City

The Miss’d America Pageant is on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Borgata’s Event Center. Get ready for a sequined-filled evening of glamour, glitz, and a whole lot of camp! Miss’d America is the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance’s signature event, and is hosted by Carson Kressley.

Each year, the fabulous drag show features some of the country’s hottest talent competing for the coveted title of Miss’d America, all for a good cause. Since 1991, the primary purpose of the show has been to raise funds for charity, and to date they’ve made over $300,000 for the greater Atlantic City region’s LGBT organizations.

The fun starts at 8 pm when the contestants take the stage with fashion icon Kressley, The Melanie Rice Orchestra, Miss’d America Mimi Imfurst, and the Miss’d America Dancers. Make sure you stick around for the Miss’d America After Party, featuring DJ entertainment, drinks, and mingling with the ladies of the pageant.

Proceeds from the 2017 Miss’d America Pageant will be equally divided between the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance and the Schultz-Hill Foundation, and then split among various local charities. The GLBT Alliance is composed of businesses and persons who are directly part of the GLBT or GLBT-supportive community. The Schultz-Hill Foundation has been established to promote and support the arts, history and education in South Jersey.

Tickets are available at many price levels. Borgata provides deluxe options including the $1,200 Diamond Tiara table: Miss’d America swag, beverage service and access to the After Party. Please call 609.317.1138 to purchase VIP seating.
