Out Pets

Did you know that having pets is actually good for your health? People with pets are generally happier, more trusting, and less lonely than those who don’t have pets. They also visit the doctor less often for minor problems. Experts say one reason for that may be that your pet gives you a sense of belonging and meaning.

Meet Gatsby and fall in love.
Meet Gatsby and fall in love.

Meet Gatsby, a handsome, mostly-cream, two-year old pitbull/boxer mix. He is neutered and totally dog friendly. Gatsby is a fun loving guy just looking for a family to love him and his perfectly pink ears! He is currently staying in a foster home and the family reports that he’s a cuddly and loving boy who loves all toys. He plays very well with and enjoys being around other dogs, but would prefer to not share his home with cats please. Gatsby is perfectly healthy and current on vaccinations.

Big Momma has a whole lot of love to give. This sweet tortoiseshell girl’s age is unknown, but I do know that all 21 pounds of her would love nothing more than a family to call her own. She is spayed and current on all vaccines. Come and meet this beautiful green-eyed girl today!

The Cumberland County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CCSPCA) is a non-profit organization and a chapter of the NJ State SPCA located in Vineland. The staff and board of trustees are deeply involved and committed to all aspects of animal care and welfare. In their function as a humane society, the shelter serves as a refuge for thousands of stray, unwanted, abused, abandoned, and sick animals. Each year, their clinic provides low-cost spay and neuter services to thousands of pets. In addition to sheltering and protecting animals, the shelter also acts as a clearinghouse for thousands of phone calls requesting information on animal-related issues and problems.
