The New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus presents “A Holly Jolly Holiday,” concert in Princeton and Sommerville. Join the chorus as they celebrate the season with songs that will wrap you up in joy.

NJGMC will feature traditional holiday classics and a salute to Christmas at the movies. The concert will bring holiday cheer to make your spirits bright. And of course, the chorus will be selling their much loved annual holiday cookie tins featuring fresh baked goodies by chorus members. The holiday concerts are the big finale to the chorus’s holiday performance season.

The first event  will be on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 8 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, 503 Asbury Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ 07712. The following afternoon the NJGMC performs on December 16, 2018 at 4 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 300 Union Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876.

NJGMC recently had the pleasure of caroling at the Brass Lantern in Metuchen. During this holiday event, the chorus sang carols while patrons browsed the store. “The integration as a member of the choir has given me the opportunity, not only to expand my musical knowledge, but also the satisfaction of knowing a new family,” said chorus member Rey Joé García. He joined the NJGMC in 2017. “The performance at the Brass Lantern was my first time singing Christmas carols in English,” he said. “And the experience was great! I loved seeing the joyous facial expressions on people while listening to our singing. The integration of the music to the visitor shopping experience made that night something magical.”

Tickets for the holiday concerts are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students when purchased in advance. All tickets are $25 at the door, and are available at njgmc.org, or by contacting the Chorus at 732-579-8449.
