    The Visiting Nurse Association and the Prevention Resource Network will host a LGBT Pride Month Event with Dr. Perry Halkitis, Dean of Rutgers University School of Public Health. Thursday June 21 from 7-9pm at Hotel Tides, in Asbury Park, NJ. The Meet & Greet will focus on a chat about the future of LGBT healthcare. Dr. Halkitis will also discuss his upcoming book focusing on Gay men’s coming out stories. The event will include lite food fare and a cash bar.

    About Rutgers Professor Dean Halkitis

    Dr. Halkitis is the Dean and Professor of Biostatistics and Social & Behavioral Health Sciences at the Rutgers School of Public Health. He is also a professor at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, and School of Public Affairs and Administration, as well as a member of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr. Halkitis is a Professor Emeritus at the College of Global Public Health, New York University.
